DISEGNACCI X REINHARD PLANK

Emilio Mossa, aka DISEGNACCI, an illustrator that loves to draw surrounded by nature, and Reinhard Plank have come together to create 7 handpainted and handmade hats.

With Reinhard Plank’s atelier being nestled in the Tuscan countryside, the pair set up an open-air studio in the backyard.

Reinhard Plank provided the fabrics, Emilio painted freely on them, letting light, leaves, and the surrounding environment guide the brush. The handpainted textiles were then transformed into hats, completing a creative cycle that is as much about process as it is about product.

This collaboration is about experimenting, having fun, and reminding people that doing something with your hands—even just doodling—can do wonders for your wellbeing. It’s more than a series of hats, it is an invite to reconnect with one’s own creativity.
